FAQ
Do you take
payment out of escrow?
How do we pay?
We use QuickBooks to digitally invoice and can accommodate split invoices or multiple payers when requested.
How long are your terms?
60 days are our standard terms.
How much is it if I need more time after 60 days?
It goes down to 1/3 of the initial term amount monthly. A $3000 contract would be $1000 a month.
If my property sells the first week, is it prorated?
We do not prorate, as is industry standard. The bulk of expenses is related to the planning, transport, installation, and removal labor.
Do you require a deposit?
No, we are happy to hold a tentative staging date once a proposal has been accepted. We require a contract to be completed to confirm all bookings.
Will you stage my listing if it’s occupied with kids and pets?
Yes, we will! We have staged hundreds of family properties and can make your lived-in home look like a model home. Clients are responsible for any loss or damage while their property is staged. Additional protection to cover staging damage is available if this is a concern.
How soon can you stage it?
It’s not unheard of for us to preview a vacant listing on a Monday and stage it on a Wednesday. We have the teams, trucks, and 8000+ SF of Inventory and resources. We can often accommodate quick turnarounds and understand the fast-paced nature of the industry.
What if you damage the property while staging?
We carry liability and workers comp insurance and can proudly say we’ve never made a claim in 11 years. Our team is experienced and are well-trained. We are properly insured, so you can have peace of mind when working with Heather’s Houses.

Is the consultation fee applied to staging?
The consultation is a standalone service and is not applied toward staging. This fee covers Heather’s time, expertise, and a detailed, customized market prep and packing plan designed to help the home show at its best—whether or not staging is selected.
